SERVICE

Our Webster Eyecare doctors provide the latest in contact lens technology.  They spend the necessary time fitting you with the most appropriate contact lens type for your lifestyle.  We understand the importance of quality vision as well as comfort throughout your day.

Contact lenses have come a long way in recent years.   Contacts are available to improve the vision of patients with nearsightedness (myopia), farsightedness (hyperopia), astigmatism, and even presbyopia (bifocals).  The latest designs have improved vision and increased comfort.

All types of contact lenses are fit at our practice, including soft, daily wear, extended wear, disposables, toric , multifocal, gas permeable, color etc.  Our office maintains a vast inventory of contact lenses for fitting purposes as well as annual supplies of popular brands.

Soft Contact Lenses
Soft contacts are made of soft, flexible plastics that allow oxygen to pass through to the eye.  With proper care, these lenses are a healthy and convenient alternative to glasses.  They are available in daily, bi-weekly, and monthly replacement schedules depending on the patient's needs and prescription.

Bifocals Contact Lenses
Bifocal (or Multifocal) contact lenses have revolutionized contact lens wear for individuals who wear glasses to read.  Our doctors are very experienced with fitting patients of all ages with these specialty lenses that allow you to see far, near and everywhere in between.

Rigid Gas Permeable Lenses (RGPs)
While soft lenses are the most commonly prescribed lenses today, RGP lenses still have a valuable place in our practice.  The doctors at Webster Eyecare Associates are well-trained in fitting and caring for patients with special needs or a history of RGP wear.
