We Are NOW Open!

Updated 12/15/2021

Webster Eye Care is now open and seeing patients consistent with current COVID-19 guidelines from the state, county, and hospital. We missed you and are sorry if we had to postpone a previous appointment.

Please rest assured that we have made changes per CDC and NYS recommendations to keep you and our employees safe. We ask that all patients mask prior to entering the building.

STEPS WE ARE TAKING:

DISINFECTING:

  1. Exam rooms after each patient.

  2. Waiting room chairs, pens, faucets, counters, doorknobs, etc. throughout the day.

KEEPING chairs in waiting room 6 feet apart and installing enclosures at the check-in and check-out desk to adhere to social distancing guidelines.

OBTAINING masks, gloves, face shields and extra cleaning supplies for doctors and staff.

IMPLEMENTING telemedicine for patients when indicated.

OUR STAFF:

  1. Will wash their hands for 20 seconds after every patient interaction.

  2. Will complete a daily health screening before coming into work, and anyone exhibiting symptoms will not be allowed to work

REGARDING YOUR VISIT:

  • If you have a fever, cough, shortness of breath, or believe you have been in contact with someone who may have been exposed, we request that you call the office to reschedule your appointment.

  • ALL PATIENTS are required to wear a face mask/covering while in our office.

  • OPTICAL VISITS such as pick-ups, pick-outs, adjustments, repairs, and cut-downs will require an appointment.

  • Upon arrival:

  1. We will ask that you go directly to the restroom to wash your hands.

  2. We will take your temperature and ask that anyone with a fever 100.5 or greater to reschedule their appointment.

  3. If we cannot observe social distancing due to other patients, we may ask you to wait outside or in your vehicle and we will call you when ready for your appointment.

  • Please come to your appointment by yourself and for minors ONE adult may accompany them so that we adhere to CDC social distancing guidelines.

  • If you need someone to bring you to your appointment, we ask that they wait outside or in your vehicle, unless their assistance is needed.

BRING TO YOUR APPOINTMENT:

  1. Medications/supplements list to give to the doctor.

  2. Completed new patient forms (these can be found under SERVICES TAB on our website). https://www.webstereyecare.com/patient-forms

Frame selection safety:

  1. Sanitized trays will be provided for patients to place frame selections. Our staff will disinfect all frames.

We will continue to monitor CDC guidelines and make changes as appropriate to ensure the safety of both our employees and patients. Thank you for your continued patience and understanding.

Sincerely,

Webster Eye Care Associates
